Screened out for $0.25 after about 3 minutes. I thought it was a bit weird that I was booted out right after answering the question promising to keep everything confidential; for a second I was worried it was an attention check or something and I failed, but I looked back at my recording and it wasn't. Just odd
After spending 20 minutes answering questions (in the main study), I was "screened out" of the survey and provided 15 cents. This has been happening a lot with these "new" researcher accounts on the platform. This should not be allowed. I've wasted so much time on Prolific lately, and it doesn't seem to matter if you opt out of in-study screenings either; they will still screen you out and give you 10-15 cents. It's so wrong.
