The study was meant to take 15 minutes, and paid only slightly above the bare minimum to begin with. I did the first part of the study which took me about 5-6 minutes, then I sat and waited to be matched with a group. After about 5 minutes of waiting, the researcher messaged me to let me know I only needed one more participant for my group. I waited for like 12 more minutes (so about 18 minutes total of just waiting) before I gave up and returned it.
