Was brought to the Dialogue AI website, the following message appeared when starting the study. "Thank you for your interest. It looks like you have already participated in this study. Each participant may only complete the interview once." This was my first time doing their study, really weird....
This was a strange study in that right up front it said you would have to give up your personal information such as email name location in the standard age sex. But what happened is they ask first for my name, second for my email, then my age and my sex and finally my location city. Then they wanted to know what portion of the state I lived in. When I plugged that in bam I was returned. What irritates me is they could have asked for the location information first, but no they wanted to get all the data they could and it felt like a total scam in the end. I wonder if anyone else has had this experience or was it just me. It's the first time I've really felt scammed by a researcher.
