It was the only thing on my dashboard, otherwise I would not bother. It was for 10 cents for 2 minutes, so basically $2.38. I reported it to Prolific for going well under what they say the amount must be. Anyway when I did try it I got a message that I was not eligible for the study and to return it. SO that is what I did and I reported that too. They suck obviously. Interestingly after I looked again in my submissions, now it says 6 GPB per hour. They are full of it. Don't bother.

Received an unfair rejection from this researcher. The task was to evaluate a virtual character. There were no wrong or right answers (multiple choice from 1 to 5) but my opinion about it was not received well with the following rejection message: Failed validity check. Gave extreme responses (strongly disagree) on sensory experience and mind perception of the virtual character.

Unfair rejection. The study asks you to rate an AI character in advertising and then has prompts related to how much you like the character and the brand. My genuine response for a vast majority of the prompts was strongly disagree, as i strongly disagree that this character "makes decisions" or is "warm". I received a rejection with the following message in my inbox: "Failed validity check. Gave extreme responses (strongly disagree) on sensory experience and mind perception of the virtual character." Don't have strongly disagree as an option if I'm not allowed to strongly disagree. I have asked them to allow me to return the study and await their response. This is my first ever rejection.
