Was told that for the study named Follow-up Online Discussion Study (2026 August 17 7PM ET) that the study would show on my board 10-15 minutes before starting time. I sat patiently waiting for it only for it to show up about a minute after the start time. Of course when I went to try to get in it was locked. Very angry and upset that I wasted my time over a researcher not doing as they said they would.
Despite not opening any pages unrelated to the study - only prolific and the study itself, the client said I was off-task and asked me to return. They have no evidence at all that I was off-task. I will be fighting them if they reject. I am not here to waste 45 minutes of my life on bad studies.
