Same story. Apparently, I failed the attention check, but the researcher was able to both look at the study to determine this but also claim that no study data had been given (pretty sure both cannot be true). And yes, I got a completion code... Having looked at Prolific's rules, failing an attention check should mean that - at worst - you can be made to return it (which seems totally reasonable). My guess is that this researcher was finding reasons to reject some of the results that he didn't like... or his attention check wasn't immediately obvious... I would guess flagging up the attention check wasn't enough to get a study rejected so he lumped in another excuse in order to justify the rejection. I would recommend avoiding the researcher's studies.

I got rejected, can you please allow me to return the study?
2 min survey, apparently failed attention check, or no study data given (despite receiving a completion code) Prolific stated they are going to uphold... do they even check these things???
Failed attention check and Gave no study data... asked to be returned instead. I thought I had done the attention check... annoying
I just received a message that I gave no study data and failed attention check questions which really surprised me. I have asked if I can return the study but not holding my breath.
Rejected me for "Finished the study too quickly" and "Gave no study data" which is absolutely false. It's a two minute study that flows fast and gives a completion code at the end. Smells like data scraping to me. Edit: I reported to Prolific but they don't care, they've upheld the rejection. Block this "researcher" for your own good.
Rejection for a study for "Finished the study too quickly" and "Gave no study data" - not sure how no study data given as a completion code was received. I don't tend to rush, and give full attention to studies. Was only a short quick study anyway, if I completed it quickly that is surely because it was a quick study and at 0.33 I can't imagine it was very comprehensive.
Another study that cannot do good attention checks that follow Prolific Policy. Certainly need to keep an eye out.
