35-minute Forecasting Study

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Researcher doesn't respond and doesn't pay. A 35 min study that was so involved in forecasting and combing through pages of data. I belive I did 15 forecasts and spent a good few minutes at the end regarding writing out my opinions on bonus. I'm not sure if this researcher is pure evil or just has absolutely zero clue how anything works.

I wouldn't recommend this study to my worst enemy. It's long and cumbersome and quite deceptive. It states that it will have a total of 4 forecast but that is a lie. It was far longer than that and I almost times out of the study. It wasn't even an interesting study because most of the time is spent combing through websites to retrieve the necessary statistics to work from. They should be paying far more for this.

Study was very difficult and took a considerable amount of time and effort to complete for the payment listed.. It takes time and effort to initially understand the concept being introduced to you and getting used to thinking in a way you may not be used to. After that it says you will complete 4 forecasts that they will take 3 minutes each, and that they expect a justification for your prediction (They initially said they expect a few sentences for each response, than later say 1-2 sentences which is confusing. I ended up doing 1-2 sentences in the later half for time consuming the task was) They took much more than 3 minutes, it takes time to comb through data and analyze it so I could make my prediction along with writing a justification for it. Sometimes data was very limited, or very hard to find, or it took time to navigate the site to find the data. After the initial 4 was done, they want you to do 8 more.. After that, it was followed up by a survey which took its own bit of time to do. They promised a bonus on a linear scale of effort that was put into it on a scale of $4-0 judged by how accurate you were, but even if I received $4 this wasn't worth. Kinda stuck through it so I could put my review here for others to see.
