easy to do. Completion code given which need manually entering back in Prolific.
This was my very first rejection that I received. It was so low paying and cumbersome that I now know that I should have never taken it in the first place. I was rejected for entering NOCODE and no information given.
that's an auto-rejection on prolific's end. you weren't rejected by the researchers themselves (they probably don't even know). You should contact the researcher and appeal if necessary.
The wait time for this was really bad - it took 12 minutes to understand the game (though I still didn't really understand), and then I sat in a waiting room for other players for 27 minutes. The game itself took about 10 minutes, and I didn't earn any bonus. The game still didn't make sense to me as the earlier discussion was just about the math involved in the payout, it didn't explain the screens at all.
Study was listed with the estimated completion time of 15 mins but it took me 32 mins to complete it. It 17 mins to get through the instructions of the game, understand it, and verify that you do, 5 minutes of waiting for other players, and the rest was spent playing the game with others, which was interesting at at least! (So I felt like I spent less time on this than I actually did) It then ended with a quick questionnaire, which probably took 2 mins? That aside, I did a win a bonus of £1.20, but I don't wish to list such until I receive it, as I have received lower bonuses than promised from other studies on Prolific.
I did win a bonus which helps, but the study took a little longer than estimated, and was already at the minimum pay to begin with.
