These scammers claimed that my work, for over 40 minutes, was “low effort.” I have submitted hundreds of studies to Prolific without a single rejection. If I do a study, I give it my full attention. I was always compensated until these data thieves came along. I have filed a formal complaint with Prolific. Also, I will be filing GDPR and CCPA complaints as well. Do not waste your time with these sociopaths.
At this point, I think the chances Prolific doesn't know it's trafficking user data to FocalData free of charge (except, of course, for the fee paid directly to Prolific) are close to 0.

Absolutely terrible chatbot. l
If you see FocalData on any survey, not just from FD HQ, then do not engage. You will spend an hour dealing with a buggy AI chatbot, and then they will reject your thoughtful responses for “intentional low-effort” to save a buck.
Study got "returned" automatically, I was very surprised. I did finish it but researcher is not acting fair though .. another time I got screened-out in the middle of the interview, even I tried to give 1-2 sentences per answer but the AI bot is always asking the same questions, it's actually very tiring to complete the whole interview. Also the bot questions were not loading properly, just buffering OR if u typed something you couldn't hit "enter" button and needed to refresh the page with F5 in order to continue (it worked eventually). This whole page is very buggy ... can't recommend this.

AI chatbot doesn't load properly when you answer the questions so you'll have to type in your answer twice. Waste of time.

It was quite repetitive however i did respond to the ai with the best of my ability always giving 1-2 sentences. It does say in the description dont give 1 word answers otherwise they will reject which can seem a bit harsh as some of the questions can be answered with 1 word. I recieved my payment a couple hours after completing.
