Anticipated completion time was 2 minutes. The researcher wanted it to actually take 5 so I was rejected. For the first time, I contacted the IRB. They agreed the researcher was wrong and were going to address it with her. I sent a screenshot of the IRB email to Prolific and they overturned the rejection.

was marked as 8 min study, avg completion showing 5min 27sec
I see others have had issues but my longer survey got approved same day.
Rejected for 'finishing too quickly'. Study was very easy to complete fast. Avoid.
Rejected a study without asking to return it that had an average completion time of 1 minute due to me finishing it in a minute. Avoid 100%. If I'm successful in getting a return, I'll update the review.
Rejected me for "going too fast" on what was an extremely short survey that they seemed to have believed would take more than 5 minutes. Have not yet responded to me contacting them about this.
LOL, I think we were writing these at the same time. Best of luck.
Lemme know if you want contact info/IRB info for the researchers behind this
That would be amazing. I'm giving them a little bit to respond, but I do plan to pursue this if they don't.
I also had the same issue. Kinda glad I'm not alone. It was stupid easy to complete it quickly.
