Very well paid study, instructions weren't entirely clear on the level of effort that should be put into refining the solution. I went for an MVP, based on the later questions it seems like maybe they were looking for a more refined solution, approved instantly either way!

interview lasted about 1 hour, clear instructions and easy to implement. Instant approval. reward rate was $25 per hour
Excellent evaluation task that seemed less boring than the others, would recommend.
paay is ok however the page layout could be a little better. Overall would recommend, just avoid the ones that you can do on mobile as the layout sucks.
This researcher ALWAYS pays a decent amount and always pays out quickly. The tasks are always very clear and are pretty simple.
the only researcher that brings me somewhat more than 1$ per study immediately on prolific lately...
This is a very task and work and voice question and repetitive study, which i didn't mind at the outset. or the first time i took it and everything was fine. The second time I took the copy with the AI interviewer ( I would like to state as much of the blame for the situation that unfolded was with outset ai and how they have built their model to understandably prompt for detailed answers and to follow up but at the same time, that mechanism can be threatening and limited in situations that require nuance) it was a slightly different premise. I worked very hard on it, gave thorough answers, answered far more follow up and repetitive questions than i did with the first, and I realized time was getting short. I was at the end of the interview, doing rating scales, and being asked four questions each about everyone, and i told the ai "i am going to run out of time on prolific in 3 minutes and if I am timed out I risk not being compensated." I have said this to different AI interviews , rarely, but sometimes i think the models do tend to drift too far or perhaps get stuck in a "explain more" action, and they have reacted with a perception of a concern, and asked their important last question and ended the interview so i wouldn't run into that with just reexplaining what id already covered. This AI did not, it told me i could continue to provide detailed quality answers or my submission would be ended and marked incomplete and not paid. I felt a little trapped and had just minutes on my prolific clock. I answered the next question in two sentences with detail and gave a shorter answer than i had in my previous answers, but it was absolutely not lacking detail or a true full response. The model immediately shut the interview off and marked it in complete. I frantically first messaged the researcher (i didn't have a code for the study because of how the test was ended) and the same time the study was timing out. I sent him all of the information and referenced my previous work on an analogous test, I asked for him to marked it awaiting approval from his side. then it awaiting filed a dispute with prolific i feel very hopeful about. i sent him a follow up asking to consider approval upon listening to the interview--- i spent 89 minutes, was effectively and a bit embarrassingly bullied by ai, i could not reach him, and i put a lot of effort including making 3 fresh ai app accounts and giving detailed feedback as asked and it as a 15 dollar survey. No response. No interest at all shown. A waste of my time, a 15-dollar loss, and the silence from researchers when there's a ux or logistics issue is really just irresponsible.
Study was very easy to complete, just some audio clips for AI training. It indicated a completion time of 25 minutes but it ended up needing barely more than half of that. Immediately approved my submission.
Extremely lengthy AI comparison study with tons of pre-study setup tasks and several demonstration/feedback tasks that take 20+ minutes each. The demo account they provided late in the study encountered a security check, requiring me to confirm that I was the owner of the demo test account they provided, which isn't possible. Huge time sink so I'd be cautious.
