I think the survey went really wrong when i did it, it took absolutely ages (over 10 mins each time) to get paired with another person, and it would happen multiple times. there wasn't enough time for the second half. the researcher paid in full anyway + bonus. i felt really bad for them

There were technical issues with the study, but the researcher stated that all participants would be paid the full participation fee. This was paid straightaway.
