Underpaid study that took longer than the intended completion time and also had undisclosed open-ended writing that was not mentioned in the study info on the Prolific dashboard.

A low-paying study that didn't mention anything about writing, then hits you with open-ended writing at the start, which required 5-7 sentences. I wrote 6 sentences then it stated the response must be at least 400 characters, but there was no character counter provided. I'm not going to sit there and count out over 400 characters in a paragraph for $1.30. Very annoying.

This involved downloading an extension that may or may not have had too much access to your personal Twitter feed. The extension download was not reflected as a notice/warning on Prolific itself, but was adequately described in the study description. A lot of technical issues with this study personally prevented me from completing the survey within the expected time, causing some unnecessary frustration. Despite these issues, the pay was still good, so YMMV.
