I have done a number of these studies from this researcher, and I'm noticing a trend: they consistently underreport the estimated time for their studies. This study was estimated at 25 minutes and took almost 35. The irony is that even with the longer time, this study still paid reasonably well. Nevertheless, it feels deceitful and disrespectful to continually underestimate study times, especially when the study is like this one, with built-in time sinks.
On the simple side, although there the audio did sort of help with the task, I don't think I found the pattern I was supposed to find, but I guess that's also important info for the study :) Approval took ~2 days.

Super easy survey where you just listen to a few seconds of a song and swipe/click to Like or Dislike to test a suggestion algorithm. Actually legit found some songs to add to my Spotify library to boot.
Estimated completion time was 5mins, I ended up taking double the time, but I do not mark a star off for this as the study was very enjoyable :> and I honestly spent longer listening to music clips than I probably needed to.
Very well paying and easy study, got payment incredibly quickly after finishing the study.
