An attention check after watching a video was recalling the last 4 digits of a phone number. Which goes against prolific's attention check guidelines: Memory Recall: Prolific explicitly states that valid attention checks "cannot rely on memory recall" (such as remembering a phone number from a scenario). Invalid Rejection: If this was intended as a comprehension check, the policy states participants "should never be rejected" but must be asked to return the study instead. They immediately rejected me without asking to return and after filling up the form I could return the study a week later.
