This researcher failed to provide a screen-out code, so I submitted without a code and selected "I was screened out." They rejected my submission less than five minutes later. Either they don't understand how screen-outs work, or they're happy to abuse Prolific's system to avoid paying a $0.14 screen-out fee.
As with most of the studies by this researcher I've taken part in, the estimated time is underreported. The estimated time was 12 minutes, but it took me just over 16. I'd avoid them if I were you.
Impossible study, I don't see how anyone could complete it within the two hour time limit, after 87 rounds I was 35 minutes in and I had to repeat that another 8 times over? no chance.
Very good and easy-to-do decision-making game with a cool prediction system and just a clean UI, 10/10.
This was just a screener for a bigger study, but it took me almost 2 minutes to finish and get 20 cents. Not to mention, it took the entire 21 days to approve the payment
Study was listed to take 1 hour but only took about 15 minutes. Because of this, Prolific thought I rushed through the study and put me on a 1 hour restriction. I read and answered each question thoroughly, so this seems unfair from both the researcher and Prolific.
The study took about the time intended, and it was relatively simple. It paid pretty well and approved quickly

I honestly spent way more time than I should have, it's possible to complete it in less than half the time I did (as the estimated completion time was 45 mins but I took 144 mins to complete with the average being 56 mins) but I honestly had a lot of fun with study (and there were multiple incentives that felt worthwhile to me and encouraged me to put more effort and time) it allowed me to exercise a lot of creativity in a way I haven't before. But with that being said, I do feel like it could pay a little more. Even if someone were to put much less effort than I did, it is still effortful (and I felt burnt out after the study) and while there was a mention of a bonus, but I'm really not sure how much I will receive. That aside, it did instantly approve which is a bonus in its own way. I will say as a warning, the study does include a lot of writing that isn't mentioned..(but bc on the nature of the study, I ended up being fine with it, and like I said before, I had fun)
