Ballpark Research Labs - Prolific Researcher Reviews

Decided to give a study a chance even though I saw the bad reviews - the reviews here are 100% justified. Screened out after 3 minutes just answering questions that were already on my profile (why don't they use the filters!!) and was not properly screened out, just asked to close the page. I returned the study as I didn't want to risk a rejection if I submitted with NOCODE. I've now blocked this "researcher".

Screened out immediately with no code. Apparently being a freelancer doesn't qualify me for sharing my thoughts on digital tools that I create with.

Researcher should indicate in the study description that this study is for people who currently have a mortgage. At least it was an immediate screenout.

"Study link not recognized" - for the 3rd time in a row

I accepted the recruitment ad. I was directed to their webpage. I was told my location was inappropriate (?!) and then it was an automatic rejection, all in the span of three seconds. Unbelievable.

Study doesn't actually exist. Unable to do it.

Rejected me for being in 'wrong location' rather than screen out. Ballpark is also, from my research, a company that conducts surveys on behalf of other brands. It would be worth notifying these brands that their main source of research is researching unethically as it can be a poor rep for the brands using it.

When I entered the study on Prolific, the survey link said that the study was full (despite the timer running on prolific), instantly returned the study.

You should Insta-block this researcher when you join Prolific. They are reject happy and will find any reason not to pay participants. Prolific needs to kick them off.

One of the VERY rare occasions that I appear to get into a Ballpark Labs study, only to be told once I click the link to begin that the study is closed to new participants. Total clownshow. Blocking.

I've never been able to even start a study. I accept the study only for the tab it's opened in to say that it's full and that I can wait to see if anyone leave a spot. If the study's full after someone accepts it, why post a study in the first place?

There website always seems to be full and the payouts aren't great.

Always get screened out without any reward. They're now blocked.

Accepted study and reserved my place, go to start study and I am greeted by a page saying that the study is full. Second time that this has been allowed to happen, came on here to find other bad reviews so makes sense.

Rejection happy and return happy. He's a very well known scammer on the platform and you can find posts about this researcher online. Avoid at all costs. He will make any excuse to reject your work and is constantly breaking the guidelines.

Carefully read every question and spent longer than average time completing this study. At the end, I got direct to a “Thanks for completing this test, you can now close this window now” page, but no completion code was provided. I also have a screenshot of this page. Messaged them immediately and got a £0.14 screened out. £0.14 for a laugh!

Screened out without compensation. Ended up returning.

Rejected user arbitrarily about 10 days ago and apparently are notorious for unfair rejections.
